Thomas Patrick "Pat" Reardon, the son of Alphonso and Laura Ann (Bloyd) Reardon, was born on August 20, 1941 at home in St. Edward, NE. Known as "Oscar" to many, he was baptized and confirmed at St. Edward Catholic Church and attended school in St. Edward, graduating from St. Edward High School in 1959. Immediately following his graduation, Pat worked construction where he helped build a concrete grain elevator in Silver Creek, NE, one of the first in the area. Pat then worked at Behlen Manufacturing from 1959 through 1962.

On October 5, 1963, Pat was united in marriage to Deanna Flaherty at St. Edward Catholic Church. The couple made their home in St. Edward until the fall of 1999, when they moved to Columbus, NE. From 1963 – 1992, Pat worked at Mahoney Sales and Service and had ownership in the company beginning in 1978. Pat opened his own business, Reardon Lawn and Garden, in 1992, and operated it until 2004 when he sold the business to his son Terry and daughter-in-law Robin. Pat continued to help at the business until 2015, when his health forced him to retire.

Pat was past President and member for 31 years of the St. Edward Fire Department. He also stayed busy as a member of the zoning committee, youth sports coach, Boy Scouts leader, Beaver Booster Club President, and St. Edward High School Alumni President. Pat was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church from 1941-1999 and St. Isidores Catholic Church from 1999 until present.

Pat loved all sports and he especially enjoyed a tradition of playing golf with his son and grandsons every year on Father's Day. He enjoyed following the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Royals. Most of all, Pat loved spending time with his family and was very close with his six nieces. Pat also enjoyed spending time with the staff and residents at David Place in David City, NE, many of whom became like family.

Pat is survived by his grandchildren: Chelsea Czapla of Omaha, NE; Shane (Satarah) Reardon of Omaha, NE; Kirby (Dana) Reardon of Lincoln, NE; great-grandson: Brecken Czapla of Omaha, NE; step great-grandson: Aiden Czapla of Omaha, NE; great-granddaughter: WillaVee Ona Reardon of Omaha, NE; daughter-in-law: Robin Reardon of Columbus, NE; six nieces: Kelly (Jim) Bader of Albion, NE; Shari (Arnie) Buettner of Albion, NE; Jill (Lowell) Imus of Albion, NE; Jana (Glen) Molt of Albion, NE; Lori Zabka of Albion, NE; Lisa (Jim) Kennedy of Cedar Rapids, NE; many great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
