Terry J. Sindelar

Terry J. Sindelar, 59, of St. Edward, NE passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Boone County Health Center, Albion, NE.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at St. Edward Catholic Church with Fr. Bill L'Heureux officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Edward Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the St. Edward Fire and Rescue Squad.

Terry "Spud" John Sindelar was born November 4, 1962, in Albion, Nebraska to John William 'Jack' and Udine (Fisher) Sindelar. Terry attended St. Edward Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1982. After graduation he worked several jobs in the area. He had small stint in Colorado before returning to his hometown of St. Edward.

Terry loved working with his hands and was a small engine mechanic. His greatest passion in life was working on vehicles especially salvage ones. He enjoyed the challenged that they gave him. During his free time Terry liked taking rides on his Harley and collecting Snoopy memorabilia.

He was a long-time member of the St. Edward Catholic Church. Terry will be remembered for his big heart and his ability to fix practically anything. Along with saving everything from his tinkering hobby.

Terry is survived by his mother Udine of St. Edward, NE; siblings: Mike (Dianne) Sindelar, Doug Sindelar, David (Ruby) Sindelar and Pam Scheiber all of St. Edward, NE; many nieces and nephews: Becky Sindelar and Jackson, Katie Sindelar and Bailey & Carter, Craig Sindelar and Kalvin, Julie Sindelar, Darlene (Coby) Inman and Caleb & Addison, Brent Sindelar, Trent (Jamie) Sindelar and Skylar & Trinity & Triton, Travis (Sadie) Sindelar and Bently & Brinley, Trevor (Bonnie) Sindelar and Savannah & Archer, and CJ (Heather) Prorok and Corbyn & Hudson & Tatum; uncle: Larry (Mary) Sindelar of Columbus, NE; cousins: Amy (Rich) Mirrer of New Jersey and Tricia (Davin) Chamberlain of Florida; along with many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Sindelar; grandparents: Alois and Mary Sindelar, Fred and Myrtle Fisher; aunt: Kay Sindelar; uncle: Ted Fisher.
