Teri D. Richards

Teri D. Richards, 67 of Primrose, NE, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, surrounded by her family at her home in Primrose, NE.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Boone County Event Center in Albion, NE with Rev. Mary Avidano officiating. Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery, Primrose, NE. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at UCC-Congregational Church in Albion, NE. Social distancing and Covid-19 DHM's will be followed at both the visitation and funeral.

Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE is in charge of the arrangements.

Teri Denise Richards, was born to Margaret Rusch Nelson on January 13, 1953 in Milford, NE. On May 30, 1953 Teri was adopted by her parents William David and Elizabeth Enid (Harr) Davis through White Hall. She attended school at Albion Public School and graduated in 1971.

On June 18, 1971 Teri was united in marriage to James Nolan. The couple lived near Primrose, NE. To this union two daughters: Micki and Jaime were born. James died on November 22, 1981.

Teri married Paul Richards on December 17, 1982.   They continued to live by Primrose and Teri worked as a homemaker and kept the household very organized. She enjoyed attending her daughter's events in school, welcoming all their friends into her home and becoming a second mother to many, and was a wonderful cook. Teri was a member of the Primrose Presbyterian Church, SOS Club, Girl Scouts, was active with the Primrose Community Club and was on a bowling team for many years. Teri's greatest joys in life were her two grandsons Tristan and Justin. From the day they were born she was very active in their lives and loved to attend their sporting events. Teri also enjoyed going on trips with Paul, they traveled to the Black Hills in South Dakota often. They would take their family out to eat or enjoy meals at home together every weekend. Teri loved her fur babies throughout the years. One thing she will be remembered for will be that her Christmas cards were the first one's people would receive every year. She will also be remembered for her witty and fun personality, and long visits around her kitchen table with coffee and a smoke.

Teri is survived by her husband Paul Richards of Primrose, NE; two daughters Micki Nolan of Lincoln, NE; Jaime (Charlie) Ray of Primrose, NE; two grandsons Tristan Nolan-Ray and Justin Ray of Primrose, NE; her birth mother Margaret Nelson of Boones Mill, VA; sister Pam (Keith) Hulquist of Rocky Mount, VA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: John Richards of Tarnov, NE; Bill Richards of Norfolk, NE; Carol Greek of Long Beach, CA; Fred Bader of Norfolk, NE; Bob (Mary) Nolan of Albion, NE; David (Vickie) Nolan of Red Cloud, NE; Linda (Larry) Molt of St. Edward, NE; Tammy Nolan of Albion, NE; Theresa Richards of Salisbury, MD; Bill Miller of Stilwater, KS; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents Billy and Enid Davis; husband James Nolan; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
