Rosella T. Miller, 91, of Spalding, NE, died Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home, Newman Grove, NE.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 24, 2025, at St. Michael's Church in Spalding, NE with Fr. Lawrence Vadakkan and Deacon Ron Glaser officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Spalding, NE. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the church with a 6:00 p.m. wake service.

Levander Funeral Home of Spalding, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Rosella Theresa (Kaiser) Miller was born in Spalding, NE on August 17, 1934, to Anton and Elizabeth (Glaser) Kaiser. She attended grade school at the stucco school house rural District 19 near their home before continuing her education at Spalding Academy where she graduated with the class of 1952. She took normal training classes and taught at District 19 for 3 years. She was a life long member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where she was baptized, confirmed, and married. Rosella was a member of St. Anne's Altar Society.

Rosella and Kenneth were married on June 2, 1955 by Rev. James P. Fullam at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spalding. The couple made their home on the family farm four miles north of Spalding for 68 years.

Rosella raised chickens and had a large garden. She enjoyed canning and making jellies. Each family birthday was celebrated with her homemade Angel food cake. Her greatest joy was her family. Rosella and Kenneth enjoyed watching their 12 grandchildren in all their sports. Rosella and Kenneth enjoyed polka dancing and traveling all over the United States.

Rosella is survived by four children: Kathy (Don) Salber of Albion, NE; Dan (Cindy) Miller of Spalding, NE; Gary (Dora) Miller of Spalding, NE; Sharyn (Greg) Dozler of Albion, NE; 12 grandchildren: Brad (Jenna) Salber; Kim (Tyler) Piening; Dr. Hilary (David Carraher) Miller; Tiffany (Dave) Byrkit; Makenzie (Gavin) Graff; Adam (Sandy) Miller; Ashley (Spencer) Burk; Andrew Miller; Kyrie (significant other Jason Jackson) Diessner; Kassy (Justin) Grant; Kaitlyn (fiancé Kyle German) Dozler; Alyssa (Landon) Eastman; 15 great-grandchildren: Avery Piening; Brooke Carraher; Blake and Everleigh Byrkit; Parker, Audrey, and Sydney Miller; Jared, Danica, and Hailey Burk; Cora and Bennett Miller; Kahleya Trofholz; Austin Grant; Skyler Eastman; sister: Betty Esch of Spalding; two sisters-in-law: Claire Kaiser of Spalding and Opal Maben of Lee's Summit, MO; and brother-in-law: Dale Sheldon of Burwell, NE as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Kenneth Miller; brother Louis Kaiser; three sisters-in-law: Esther Kaiser, Kathleen Sheldon and Eileen Butler; four brothers-in-law: Richard "Dick" Esch, Orville Miller, Bill Maben, and Paul Butler.
