Renita Lynn Karmann, daughter of Ron Wilkinson and Vada McClanahan was born July 24, 1965, at Point Pleasant, West Virginia. She attended Wahama Public Schools at Mason, West Virginia and was an incredible cheerleader. She really loved and embraced high school. Following graduation, Renita moved to Hawaii to nanny for a friend.  There she married Albert Flores and gave birth to her son Miguel.

Renita and Miguel relocated to Grand Island, NE where she worked various jobs. While living in Grand Island, she met the love of her life Steve Karmann. On September 26, 1998, Renita was united in marriage to Steve at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, NE.  Her favorite job though was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Renita also loved donating her time to charities. Renita volunteered at the assisted living and nursing home and every holiday season would volunteer with Toys for Tots.

Renita enjoyed going to the BC Fitness Center, spending time with the elderly, and baking cookies. In the past years, Renita ran marathons in Lincoln, Grand Island, and Omaha, including numerous local races and she has many many medals to show for it. She thrived on running, biking, going to thrift stores, attending junk jaunts, feeding the birds, and tending to her flowers. Renita had a contagious personality. She was full of spirit and always bubbly. She loved listening to 80's music, dressing up for Halloween and decorating her home for every holiday. Most importantly she loved her family and making memories with each one of them.
