Raymond L. Braband

Raymond L. Braband, 66 of Elgin, NE, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Faith Regional Health Center, Norfolk, NE.

There will be a private family mass with burial at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, rural Clearwater, NE.

Levander Funeral Home of Elgin, NE is in charge of the arrangements.

Raymond Louis Braband, son of Earl and Gloria Ruth (Loughrey) Braband was born December 15, 1957, in Neligh, NE. He attended Elgin Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1976.While in high school he started to farm and truck. Following graduation Ray started Braband Trucking.

On June 25, 1988, Ray was united in marriage to Pamela Henn at St. John's Catholic Church. They lived their married life on a farm in rural Elgin. From this union, Raymond was blessed with three sons.

Ray was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Ray enjoyed watching western shows, stock car races, camping, and watching his grandchildren grow. They were his pride and joy.

Ray is survived by his wife Pam Braband of Elgin, NE; three sons: AJ Braband of Cleveland, OH; Dean (Rhea) Braband of Omaha; Michael Braband of Elgin, NE; four grandchildren: Finn, David, Floyd, and Lilyianna Braband; brother: Roger (Joelie) Braband of Neligh, NE; sister: Margaret (Karl) Hensley of Elgin, NE; sister-in-law: Brenda (Paul) Kuhlman of Petersburg, NE; brother-in-law: Kevin Henn of Clearwater, NE; mother-in-law: Marlene Henn of Clearwater, NE; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded by his parents; and his father-in-law: Floyd Henn.
