Paul Harvey Hanson

Paul H. Hanson, 79, of Stromsburg, NE, passed away at his home in Stromsburg, NE.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Immanuel Zion Church, South Branch, rural Albion, NE with Pastor Becky Beckmann officiating. Inurnment will follow at the South Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the church.

Paul Harvey Hanson, son of Harvey and Blanche (Tisthammer) Hanson, was born on May 20, 1942, in Omaha, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Zion South Branch Church. As a youth, Paul attended school at Albion Public Schools and graduated from there in 1960.

Following high school, Paul attended Dana College and Creighton University in Omaha where he graduated with a law degree. Paul then moved to Stromsburg, NE where he established his own law office, Paul H. Hanson Attorney of Law. Paul was a quiet, private man but enjoyed his community and the clients that he worked with over the years.

Paul is survived by his sister: Gloria Halverson of Waterford, WI; niece: Tracy (Roger) Kram; nephew: Tim (Angie) Halverson: great-nephews and nieces: Matt (Jessica) Kram and son Jason; Mandy (Tim) Hoffman and children: Braxton and Baby Hoffman; Kaitlyn (Matt) Johnson; Connor (Eve) Kram; Alexandra Halverson; aunt: Janice Tisthammer; as well as many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law: Ron Halverson; aunt: Stella (Marvin) Knutsen; uncle: John Tisthammer; as well as aunts and uncles on the Hanson side of the family.
