Patricia A. Coil, 84, of Newman Grove, NE, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society in Albion, NE.
There will be a Celebration of Life from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Levander Funeral Home in Newman Grove, NE.
Levander Funeral Home of Newman Grove is in charge of the arrangements.
Patricia Ann Coil, daughter of Elmer and Loraine (Totten) Livingston, was born June 19, 1936, in Petersburg, NE. She attended school at Albion Public Schools.
In February 1955, Patricia was united in marriage with Ralph Thompson. To this union the couple had one daughter, Joan. While married to Ralph, she helped with the work on the farm. Patricia later married John Coil in September of 1981. Throughout the years, Patricia sold Avon makeup products, worked as a housekeeper in both private homes as well as the Boone County Health Center. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Patricia enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting, and growing her garden and flowers. Patricia also collected teapots, and her love for cooking gained her a large collection of cookbooks. She enjoyed watching old western movies, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Joan (Jeff) Merten of Albion, NE; and one brother: Duane (Donna) Livingston of Omaha, NE; special friends Christine Plog and family of Omaha, NE; Julie and Paul Cederlind of Newman Grove, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Ralph Thompson and John Coil; and brother: Bill Livingston.
