Nancy Elizabeth Buschmeyer

Nancy E. Buschmeyer, 90, of St. Edward, NE, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Boone County Health Center, Albion, NE.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in St. Edward, NE with Rev. Vernon Olson officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, Omaha, NE. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Miller-Levander Funeral Home of St. Edward, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to St. Edward Fire and Rescue.

Nancy Elizabeth Buschmeyer, daughter of Howard and Lillian May (Clift) Thomas was born on August 7, 1929 at Omaha, NE. She attended Dundee Elementary School and graduated in 1948 from Benson High School in Omaha, NE.

On January 25, 1969, Nancy was united in marriage to Edward Walter Buschmeyer at the First United Methodist Church in Omaha, NE. They later welcomed their son James into their lives. The couple lived and farmed in the St. Edward area.

Nancy was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Edward, and the Women's Group there. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Omaha, NE, along with Women's Gardening Clubs.
Nancy enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and was a very knowledgeable person.

She is survived by her niece: Cindy Crandall of Florida; nephews: Bruce Buschmeyer of Florida; George Buschmeyer and Vernon Buschmeyer of Fremont, NE; and special friends: Kenny and Tami Jenkins of St. Edward, NE.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: James; sister: Lorraine Meyers; as well as several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
