Michael Lee Cunningham

Michael Lee Cunningham, 52, of St. Edward, NE passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Faith Regional Hospital, Norfolk, NE.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Levander Funeral Home, Albion, NE with Pastor Dave Kersting officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Levander Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Peter & St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Bellwood, NE.

Miller-Levander Funeral Home of St. Edward, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Michael Lee Cunningham, son of Sheila Cunningham was born on December 24, 1972, at Ord, NE.  He attended school in Monroe, NE. He then entered the Job Corps. Following his time there he worked in construction. Mike enjoyed the open road and worked as an over the road truck driver for over 20 years.

On May 4, 2019, Mike was united in marriage to the love of his life, Christina Marie Hough at Columbus, NE.  The couple has lived in St. Edward, NE.  Mike was a collector of CocaCola Memorabilia, trains, and anything wolf.  He loved riding his motorcycles, and had a green thumb and could grow anything.  He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his fur babies.

Mike is survived by his wife Chrissy of St. Edward, NE; mother Sheila Cunningham of Pierce, NE; three brothers: Roger Cunningham of Virginia; Jay (Katy) Podliska and children Kalvin and Jayme of Pierce, NE; and Dustin Cunningham of Pierce, NE; father and mother-in-law: Dan and Peg Hough of Bellwood, NE; sisters-in-law: Chrissy (Tyler) Kersting and children Felix and Aksel of Omaha, NE; Shannan (Jason) Reed and children Shelbea and Conner of Bellwood, NE; brother-in-law: Ray (Christy) Hough children Aidan and Alex of Carson, IA; his pets: dogs Chloe, Benji, Barkley, Saydie, and Lucy, cats Moe, Milo, and Sophie; along with many Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents: Glen and Theresa Cunningham.
