Marlene A. (Henn) Mcclinton

Marlene A. McClinton, 89, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Petersburg, NE passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Heritage of Sterling Ridge, Omaha, NE.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Petersburg, NE with Rev. John Norman officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion is in charge of the arrangements.

Marlene Ann McClinton, daughter of Delbert and Eleanor C. (Parr) Henn was born September 25, 1935, in Petersburg, NE. She was baptized at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and later confirmed. Marlene attended and graduated from St. John the Baptist School. After graduating high school, she moved to Omaha and was employed as an insurance underwriter for Mutal of Omaha for 35 plus years of service.

On January 20, 1975, Marlene was united in marriage to Bob McClinton in Mobile, AL. They made their home in Omaha, NE. Marlene was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and was involved in their RCIA program.

After retirement she was active in her Cancer Survivor groups, meeting friends and family for breakfast and maintaining her home. She was always on the go and made friends easily.

Marlene is survived by her brother: Duane (Marilyn) Henn of Kimberling, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Bob McClinton; brother: Morrie (Mary "Dolly") Henn; sisters: Donna (Bud) Ketteler; LaVonne Henn; and niece: Deb Wiseman.
