M. Patricia Campos, 97, of Creve Coeur, MO passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2019, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spalding, NE with Fr. Antony Thekkekara and Fr. Jim Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Spalding, NE.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Dolce-Scheef Mortuary of Spalding, NE is in charge of local arrangements.

Mary Patricia Campos (nee Whalen), Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection Friday, March 29, 2019. She was born on Thursday, March 7, 1922 in Spalding, Nebraska to the late Edward J. Whalen and Mabel Whalen DeWulf (nee Dunning). Wife of the late Dr. F. J. Campos.

Beloved mother of Marta Patricia (Brian) Hughes, Deborah (Frank) Grelle, Michaela (John) Costello; dear grandmother of Bridget (Brian), David (Kasey), Ryan (Seth), Molly (Chris), Margaret, Mary, John and George; dear great grandmother of 13; dear sister of the late Anna Marie Hulick, Edward J. Whalen and James Whalen; dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Pat grew up in Spalding, Nebraska. She attended St. Catharine College in Kentucky and St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Omaha. While in Omaha she met her husband, Joe, and they married in 1945. They relocated to St. Louis where they raised their family.
