Linda S. Willard

Linda S. Willard, 77, of St. Edward, NE passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at her home in St. Edward, NE.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Beaver Valley Senior Center in St. Edward, NE. Private family inurnment will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, St. Edward, NE.

Miller-Levander Funeral Home in St. Edward, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Linda Sue Willard, the daughter of Orvan LeRoy and Margaret Francis (Warnke) Remmereid, was born on October 17, 1947, at Columbus, NE. She attended school in St. Edward, graduating from St. Edward High School in 1966.

On September 1, 1967, Linda was united in marriage to Karl Glenn Willard at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion, NE. The couple made their home in St. Edward and then Albion for a short period of time before moving back to St. Edward. Linda worked for many years at the Hitch'n Post Bar and Grill in St. Edward and later at Appleton's Electric in Columbus. Linda Sue enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, cooking, and baking. She took many trips to Colorado, always enjoying seeing the mountains while she was there. Linda also enjoyed going bowling with her friends. One of the things that she enjoyed the most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is fondly remembered for taking her family to the lake every Sunday for a family picnic.

Linda is survived by her husband: Karl Willard of St. Edward, NE; six children: Jamie (Shelly) Willard of Columbus, NE; Tracy (Katrina Babel) Willard of Columbus, NE; Jeri (Dave) Rosno of Genoa, NE; Angela (Rod) Molt of Columbus, NE; Billy (Katie Sindelar) Willard of St. Edward, NE; Ginger (Luke Seim) Willard of Columbus, NE; nine grandchildren: Mercedes (Travis) Sindelar; Megan (Todd) Pernicek; Austin Willard; Shylee Willard; Cody Molt; Dustin Molt; Jada Grape; Josie Westring; Layla Westring; five great-grandchildren: Bentley Sindelar; Brynlee Sindelar; Theodore Pernicek; Anastasia Pernicek; Morrison Willard; sister: Gina Reynoldson of St. Edward, NE; brother: Udell Remmereid of St. Edward; two nieces; one nephew; as well as many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law: George O. Willard.
