Lenny Geiser

Leonard "Lenny" William Geiser, 84 of Cedar Rapids, NE, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Cloverlodge Care Center, St. Edward, NE.

There will be a private family funeral service.

Levander Funeral Home of Cedar Rapids, NE is in charge of the arrangements.

Leonard "Lenny" William Geiser, son of Fred and Clara (King) Geiser was born, December 25, 1937, in Camden, NJ. Right from the get-go Lenny was an entrepreneur. At a young age Lenny wanted to do anything to make some money. He started to shine shoes, gave horse and buggy rides, and soon got into the business of buying and selling.

Lenny married Lucille Primus.  They lived in New Jersey for some time where Lenny was an auctioneer. The couple moved and settled in Arizona in 1972, where Lenny continued his business of buying and selling. Lenny and Lue followed their daughter Gina to Cedar Rapids, NE in 2006.  There Lenny was known for his outlet stores full of treasures from hotel furniture to designer clothing, and his karaoke business.  He loved to spend time at his daughter's bar and restaurant where he would help entertain with his karaoke and visit with the patrons.  He loved to make people smile.

Lenny is survived by his wife: Lucille "Lue" Geiser of Cedar Rapids, NE; six children: Leonard A. Geiser (Pamela) Geiser of Phoenix, AZ, Linda (Jim) Thomas of Bellmawr, NJ, David Geiser of Bellmawr, NJ, Michael D. (Alejandra) Geiser of Buckeye, AZ, Daniel Geiser of Cedar Rapids, NE, Gina (Cindy) Geiser-Fousek of Cedar Rapids, NE; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother: Gene (Kathy) Geiser of Payson, AZ; special niece: Terry (William) Brown of Payson, AZ; as well as many other nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.
