Lee Charles Kemper

Lee C. Kemper, 79, of St. Edward, NE passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Cloverlodge Care Center, St. Edward, NE.

There will be a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church, St. Edward, NE with Rev. Brian Ketelsen officiating. Lee's cremains will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery, St. Edward, NE.

Lee Charles Kemper, son of Edward and Edna (Brunk) Kemper was born March 18, 1943 at St. Edward. He attended K-8 at Mount Echo school, District 54, southwest of his family farm. He graduated from St. Edward High School in 1962. He was active in 4-H, and FFA.

Lee joined the National Guard during the Vietnam War. He farmed most of his life, drove truck for Werner Trucking, and retired from Carter's Grain Elevator.

Lee is survived by his sister Nancy of Omaha, brother Neal (Bev) of St. Edward; nieces: Vicky (Kevin) Houston, Shanon Whitney, Joey Vickery, all of Omaha; nephews: Keith Kemper, Virginia Beach, VA, Bobby (Kelly Sock) Kemper, St. Edward, Jared (Christy) Kemper, Genoa; great nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
