Kathleen "Kay" H. Mullin

Kathleen "Kay" Helen Mullin (Stillinger), 85, died Sunday, April 10, 2022 in Lincoln, NE. Kay was born in 1936 in Albion, Nebraska to Earle "Stilly" and Florence "Peg" Stillinger.  Following graduation from Albion High School in 1954, she attended the University of Missouri and then worked in Los Angeles, California before marrying and raising her family.

Kay married Michael Joseph Mullin in Albion, NE in October 1959. During their 61 years together they lived in Nebraska, Colorado, Texas, Maine, and New Hampshire. They returned to Nebraska to spend their retirement years near family.

After raising her children, Kay worked for the investment and security firms Paine Weber and A.G. Edwards. She was a Master Gardener and volunteered for her local Nebraska extension office. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and cooking for gatherings large and small.

She is survived by her children Monica (Doug) Holland, Melinda Mullin, Daniel (Linda) Mullin, Timothy (Cherie) Mullin, Celia (Jon) Schatzky, and Matthew Mullin; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her siblings Richard Joseph Stillinger and Florence Anne Lien, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her siblings Jerold Eugene Stillinger and Earle Kenneth Stillinger.

A memorial service will be 10:30 AM on June 24, 2022, in Albion, NE at Saint Michael's Catholic Church. Fr. Tomasiewicz will Celebrate. Inurnment will follow in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Refreshments following at the Albion Country Club.
