Joyce M. Donscheski

Joyce M. Donscheski, 74, of Albion, NE, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her brother's home in Omaha, NE.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019, at UCC-Congregational Church in Albion, NE with Rev. Mary Avidano officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, NE. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE.

Joyce M. Donscheski, daughter of Emil and Pauline (Austin) Donscheski was born on February 23, 1945 at Albion, NE. She attended school in Albion and graduated from Albion Public High School in 1963. Following high school Joyce worked for Holmes Equipment until 1969. She then started her career at Sullivan Motors Co., Inc until the business closed in 2008.

Joyce was a member of the UCC-Congregational Church in Albion, NE. She loved her time with her family, going on vacations with her brothers, and being with her many nieces and nephews. She had fought a hard battle with cancer for the past 5 years and will be missed by all of her friends and family, especially her dog Sassy.

She is survived by her brothers: Donald (Patty) Donscheski of Omaha, NE; Jim (Donna) Donscheski of Lincoln, NE; half sister Denise Ney of Iowa; 11 nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces and nephews, 11 great-great-nieces and nephews; along with many other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy, brother Ted, sisters-in-law Evelyn and Debra Donscheski.
