Joel J. Nore

Joel J. Nore, 63 of Albion, NE passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 at Bryan Medical Center West Campus, Lincoln, NE.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 1, 2026, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, with Pastor Carolann Hopcke officiating. Burial will be at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, NE, followed by a lunch at Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral service.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion, NE is in charge of the arrangements.

Joel Jay Nore was born November 24, 1962, in Albion, Nebraska, to Jerry M. and JoAnn (Wilson) Nore. He grew up in Albion, attended Albion High School, and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. 

Joel spent his life farming alongside his family and took great pride in the work he did. He was known for being a kind and dependable neighbor who enjoyed visiting with others and always helping whenever he could. Joel loved attending tractor pulls, auctions, the Nebraska State Fair, and any kind of farm expo. 

He is survived by his brother, Jim Nore and wife Jaci of Albion; nephews Jeremy Nore and wife Bridget of Kearney, NE and Josh Nore and wife Jill of Albion, NE; along with many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews including Jacee, Olivia, Lauren, Jacob, Julia, Aiden, Grace, and Hope. 

Joel was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and JoAnn Nore.
