Joanne M. Bourn

JoAnne M. Bourn, 91, of Albion, NE, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Albion, NE.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Levander Funeral Home, Albion, NE.  Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, NE.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion, NE is in charge of arrangements.

JoAnne Bourn, daughter of Richard and Edith (Fitzsimmons) Bourn was born on March 25, 1933, at Cedar Rapids, NE. She attended country school until the 8th grade and then went to Cedar Rapids High School graduating with the class of 1951.  Following graduation JoAnne and her sister Marjorie moved to Columbus, NE, where they worked for Dales Electric for 51 years.

JoAnne is survived by one sister: Marilyn (John) Roan of Cedar Rapids, NE; three brothers: Mick Bourn and Doug Bourn both of Cedar Rapids, NE; Larry (Carlene) Bourn of Spalding, NE; sisters-in-law Doris Bourn of Cedar Rapids, NE; Noreen Bourn of St. Louis, MO; brother-in-law Jim Beister of Albion, NE; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Clyde and Richard Bourn; sisters: Patricia Beister and Marjorie Bourn; niece: Pamela Mooney; nephews: Jeffrey and Steven Roan.
