Jammie Sue Mercer Singletary, 58, a beloved mother, loyal friend, and hardworking employee, passed away on July 17th, 2024 in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. She was born on October 13th, 1965 in Georgia.

A celebration of Jammie's life will be held at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, Nebraska on Saturday July 27th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is there that we can come together to honor the beautiful legacy that Jammie leaves behind - one filled with love for others that transcends time itself.
Jammie's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to those around her. Her love knew no bounds as she poured every ounce of herself into being a devoted mother and a steadfast friend. Jammie had an incredible work ethic and gave everything she had to make the lives of those around her better.
She is survived by her brothers Bill and Scott Mercer, sister Cindy Mercer Neal; children Heather Vaughan, Michael Williams, and Chelsey Autry; many grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence in their lives.
The loss of Jammie has left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her kindness knew no limits and she touched the hearts of everyone she met with warmth and compassion.
Jammie was preceded in death by her son Matheu Williams, mother Charolette Kay Hoke, daughter Holly Kay Schulz. Their memories will forever be cherished alongside hers.
In this time of profound grief over the loss of such a remarkable woman whose light shone so brightly upon us all during her time here on earth – may we find solace in remembering how much joy she brought into our lives.
