James D. Snodgrass, 66 of Cedar Rapids, NE, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Bryan Medical Center, Lincoln, NE.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Sunrise Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, NE with Rev. Vern Olson officiating. There will be a lunch to follow at Dad 'N Busters in Cedar Rapids, NE.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion, NE is in charge of the arrangements.

James Dale Snodgrass, son of Gerald and Marlene (Greer) Snodgrass, was born April 8, 1957, at Albion, NE. He attended Cedar Rapids High School and graduated with the class of 1975.

Jim was a simple man. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed building and working with his hands.

Jim is survived by his children: Melissa (Mike) Pilakowski of Arthur, NE and Cheney Snodgrass of Cedar Rapids, NE; three grandchildren: Madelyn, Dane, and Colton Pilakowski; sisters: Sherry Dush of Fullerton, NE and Geri (Harold) Greek of Newman Grove, NE; as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Gerald and Marlene; two brothers: Randy and Bill.
