James "Jamie" M. Rose Jr.

James "Jamie" M. Rose, Jr., 50 of Albion, NE died on Thursday, September 28, 2023 as the result of an accident near Tilden, NE.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the funeral home led by Pastor Keith Brich.

James "Jamie" Michael Rose, Jr., son of James Michael, Sr., and Susan (Johnson) Rose, was born on February 26, 1973 at St. Paul, MN. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Michael's Church in Stillwater, MN. Jamie attended school at Stillwater High School and graduated from there in 1991.

Jamie was united in marriage to Dorie Schademann on April 26, 2014, at Hudson, WI. They made their home in Minnesota, Wisconsin and in 2020, moved to Albion, NE. In March of 2023, Jamie began working at Bud's Sanitation in Newman Grove, NE. Jamie not only loved his job but also the people he worked for and those on his routes.

Jamie had many hobbies throughout his life. He coached football, baseball, and was a huge San Francisco 49'ers fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals, country life, and open spaces. Most of all, he loved watching his children grow and cherished time with his family.

Jamie is survived by his wife: Dorie Rose of Albion, NE; son: Dakota Rose of Albion, NE; daughter: Evelyn Rose of Albion, NE; parents: Jim and Susan Rose, Sr. of Stillwater, MN; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Mike and Tami Schademann of Albion, NE; mother-in-law: Bonnie Tennesseen of Brooke Park, MN; grandfather-in-law: Lester Schademann of Albion, NE; sister: Angie (Mark Stoltz) Rose of Hugo, MN; nephew: Jacob Stoltz of Hugo, MN; sister-in-law: Hailey Schademann of Mexico; uncle-in-law: Michael Wachter; cousins: Shelly Rose; Phil Rose; Roy Rose; Becky Rose; Scott Rose; Hunter Rose; Austin Rose; Logan Rose; Knuck Rose; Connie Rose; Missy Rose; Grace Rose; Nolan Rose; Jerry Rose; and Cathy Rose.

He was preceded in death by his stepson: Derrick Hausner; and grandparents: Hugh and Lorna Rose; Leona Johnson; Douglas Johnson.
