Douglas "Doug" E. Sharp, 63 of Albion, NE passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at CHI Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE.

Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion is in charge of arrangements.

Douglas "Doug" Eugene Sharp, son of Irvin and Catherine Lavonne (Hopkins) Sharp, was born on September 10, 1962, in Columbus, Nebraska. He attended school in Columbus and graduated from Lakeview High School.

At the time of his passing, Doug was doing what he loved, driving a semi-truck. He had many interests, including riding his motorcycle, hunting, working on crossword puzzles, and sharing his wide knowledge of random facts.

Doug is survived by his niece: Traci (Clay) Payer of Wagner, SD; and three great-nieces: Catherine, Clara, and Chloe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Catherine Sharp; two sisters: Cathy Arehart; and Cindy (Mike) Mack Sr.

Doug will be remembered for his love of the open road, his curious mind, and the joy he brought to those around him.
