Carroll "Doug" McIntyre, 72, of Primrose, NE, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Levander Funeral Home, Albion, NE with Rev. Lynde Linde officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Carroll Douglas McIntyre, son of Charles Harrison and Theresa Agnes (Shimek) McIntyre was born on July 6, 1952, at Cedar Rapids, NE. He was baptized into the Presbyterian Church in Primrose, NE.  He attended elementary school at Primrose and then graduated from Cedar Rapids High School in 1970. Following graduation Doug started farming.

On May 27, 1989, Doug was united in marriage to Debra Jean Cook. The couple lived east of Primrose on the home place.  Doug loved farming and it was his whole life.  That changed once they were blessed with their three boys Evan, Adam, and Logan.  He loved to spend time with his children and granddaughter Lexis and was very excited to meet his new grandchild in November.

Doug is survived by his wife Deb of Primrose, NE; three sons: Evan of Cedar Rapids, NE; Adam (Amber) and Logan of Primrose, NE; granddaughter: Lexis Dozler of Cedar Rapids, NE and a grandchild on the way; siblings: Bill McIntyre; Walt (Alice) McIntyre; Eileen Sowokinos; Pat (Allen) Splittgerber; Dick (Mary) McIntyre; Larry (Pam) McIntyre; Ted (Dot) McIntyre; Al (Ellie) McIntyre; Ken (Sue) McIntyre; brothers-in-law: Barry Young; Jim (Denise) Cook; sister-in-law: Fran (Steve) VonBonn, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Tom (Georgene) McIntyre; Jim (Vernelle) McIntyre; Grace Sievers; Mildred McIntyre; Charles (Dolores) McIntyre; Bob (Deloris) McIntyre; Jean (Wes) Young; Mary Lou (Loren) Tiangco; Kathy Young and Frank Sowokinos.
