Deloris E. Mcintyre

Deloris E. McIntyre, 95 of Lincoln, NE formerly of Primrose, NE, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at her home in Lincoln, NE.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 at the First Presbyterian Church, Primrose NE with Roy Schilousky officiating. Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery, Primrose, NE. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church, Primrose, NE or Dublin Cemetery, Primrose, NE.

Levander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Deloris Elaine McIntyre was born September 9, 1926, to John (Jack) W. Primrose and Goldie Primrose (Litten) of Primrose, NE.  She was the eldest of 3 daughters.  Deloris attended Primrose Public Schools for her elementary through high school education.  She was Valedictorian of her graduating class of 1943.

On November 24, 1944, Deloris and Bob McIntyre were married at the Methodist Parsonage in Albion, NE.  They were married 54 years before Bob's passing.  Deloris and Bob lived in Primrose for almost all their years of marriage.  Bob and Deloris farmed, and Deloris was a dedicated mother to her 5 children: always putting their needs before her own.

Deloris belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Primrose.  She belonged to Starlight and other women's groups.  She was a Sunday School, Youth Group and Bible School teacher.  She was a member of the Happy Hour Community Women's group.  Bob and Deloris belonged to numerous card clubs and enjoyed camping and visiting with friends and family.

In 2004, Deloris moved to Lincoln, NE to start a new chapter in her life.  She purchased a condo at Van Dorn Villa where she lived until 2016, enjoying many new friends in card clubs, activities, shared meals, and exercise classes.

In 2016, when Deloris wanted more help and no longer wished to drive, she moved in with her daughter Ronda and her husband Vern, where she resided happily until her passing

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob; and two sisters, Dila and Anita.

She is survived by her 5 children: Bob (Jenny) of Las Vegas, Rod (Janelle) of Primrose, Randy (Barb) of Lincoln, Roxanne (Bob) of Hickman, NE, and Ronda (Vern) of Lincoln, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grand-children and 1 great-great-grandchild.
