Debra "Deb" J. Trube, 70, of St. Edward, NE, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Faith Regional Services, Norfolk, NE.
Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the St. Edward Christian Community Church with Pastor Mick Goc officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at church.
Miller-Levander Funeral Home of St. Edward, NE is in charge of arrangements.
Debra "Deb" Jean Trube, daughter of LeRoy and Betty (Christiansen) Priestly, was born January 28, 1955, in West Point, NE. She attended country school in the Tilden area and later graduated from Elkhorn Valley High School in 1973.
On September 22, 1977, Deb was united in marriage to Loren Trube at the United Methodist Church. Their love story began at her uncle's body shop, and together they were blessed with five children.
Deb and Loren first made their home in Norfolk, NE, where Deb worked at an ice cream shop. They later moved to Tilden, NE, to be closer to her parents. While living in Tilden, she worked as a prep cook at the Branding Iron Grill & Pub. In 2000, the couple moved to St. Edward, NE. There, Deb was employed at Lindsay Manufacturing and later at Hy-Vee in Columbus, NE. After the passing of her daughter Andrea, Deb lovingly stepped in to care for her granddaughters.
Deb was a faithful member of the Methodist Church in Tilden. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
Deb is survived by her husband, Loren Trube of St. Edward, NE; four children, Chris (Catherine) Trube of Omaha, NE; Laura (Joey Harris) Trube of Onawa, IA; Tanner (Megan Olson) Trube of Manhattan, KS; and April Trube of St. Edward, NE; two granddaughters: Adalynn and Ensley Trube of St. Edward, NE; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Andrea Trube; parents-in-law: Allen and Evelyn Trube; brother: LeRoy Priestly; three sisters: Diana, Linda, and Terry; and nephew: Brian.
