Dawn R. Wanser

Dawn Renee Wanser, 51, of Bailey, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at Swedish Medical Hospital in Englewood, Colorado.

Following services in Colorado, graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2025, at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, rural Clearwater, NE with Pastor Mike Gardner officiating.

Levander Funeral Home of Elgin, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Dawn was born on June 24, 1973, in Denver, Colorado to Thomas M, Clark and Linda Kay Galbraith (Clark). Dawn is survived by her husband, Kevin Lee Wanser, her father and mother, and Ann Catherine DeLaney, Dawn's sister. Dawn was preceded in death by her two sons, Cody Lee Wanser and Jacob August Wanser. Dawn was a devoted and loving mother of her two disabled sons which required her to obtain certified nursing assistant credentials (CNA) after which she formed and organized the Caretakers Wish Foundation to serve the needs of caretakers like herself. Dawn also worked as an Administrative Assistant for Rockland Christian Church; held a position as a Mortgage Loan Processor requiring Colorado state financial certification; purchased and helped renovate the Chapel at Pine Grove in Pine Colorado where she was acting pastor and ordained chaplain and served as an Insurance Adjustor with State Farm Insurance.
