Charlotte M. Noble

Charlotte M. Noble, 97 of Albion, NE passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in Albion, NE with Rev. Lynde Linde officiating. Interment will take place at Rose Hill following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Levander Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Charlotte, daughter of Charles and Mae (Whipple) Evans, was born June 20, 1928, in Lincoln, NE. She attended school in Lincoln, NE, until age of nine when her family moved to a farm near Boone, NE. Charlotte attended rural school through the eighth grade and graduated from Albion High School in 1946. Following graduation, she moved to Lincoln, NE and worked at First National Bank.

Charlotte and Alton Noble were wed July 20, 1947, at United Methodist Church in St. Edward, NE. Following their marriage, the couple moved to a farm where they raised their children: Bill, Jean, and Kim. Her passion was her children and grandchildren.

Charlotte was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church as well as attending her church circle and was a Sunday school teacher for many years in Albion. Charlotte enjoyed a variety of social activities including: Dinner Club, Young Mothers Club, Art Club, Neighborhood Club. Her legacy of kindness will live on through her family.

Charlotte is survived by her three children: Bill (Vicki) Noble of Albion, NE; Jean Kvamme of Albion, NE; Kim Forre (Robert Anson) of Newman Grove, NE; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Alton Noble; infant son: Craig in 1970; sons-in-law Dan Forre and Herman Kvamme, nine brothers-in-law and eight sisters-in-law.
