Cecilia A. Keber, 84 of Albion, NE passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society, Albion, NE.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Albion, NE with Fr. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Primrose, NE. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church with a 7:00 p.m. Wake Service.

Cecilia Ann Keber, daughter of Jacob and Adola (Brik) Miller, was born July 26, 1937 at Primrose, NE, the seventh oldest of nine children. She grew up on the family farm southwest of Primrose, attended school at Primrose Public School and graduated from there with the class of 1954. After high school, she attended Wayne State Teachers College, became an elementary teacher, taught for ten years and substituted for many years.

On July 25, 1964, Cecilia was united in marriage to Michael "Mick" Keber at St. Mary Catholic Church of Primrose. They made their home on the Keber farm northeast of Spalding, NE in Wheeler County. They were blessed with three children: James, Jerome and Judith. There, Mick and she farmed, ranched and raised their three children.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Primrose, St. Michael Catholic Church of Spalding and St. Michael Catholic Church of Albion. She was baptized at St. Mary Catholic Church of Primrose on August 1, 1937 and confirmed at St. Anthony Catholic Church of Cedar Rapids on June 10, 1947, where her parents were married in 1922.

Her FAITH, FAMILY and FRIENDS were most important in her life. She enjoyed short jaunts with Mick to the country and especially the Sandhills, being with friends, spending much time with her children and grandchildren and attending their religious celebrations and school activities.

The couple move to Albion, NE in September 2004. Her husband, Mick, of 49 years passed away November 2, 2013.

Cecilia is survived by her three children: Jim (Jean) Keber of Spalding, NE; Jerry (Tami) Keber of Spalding, NE; Judy (Patrick) Mahony of Ericson, NE; eight grandchildren: Andrew Mahony of Ericson, NE; Kristin (Max) Hunhoff of Norfolk, NE; Derek Mahony of Bartlett, NE; Elizabeth and Brooke Keber of Spalding, NE; Tim, Nick and David Keber of Spalding, NE; one great-grandson Mason Hunhoff; brother Harold (Gwen) Miller of Albion, NE; Mary Kay Henkenius of Colorado; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband Mick; parents Jacob and Adolpha Miller; her siblings: Raymond Miller, Margaret Berger, Leo Miller, Ed Miller, Richard Miller, and Irene Gilroy.
