Bruce Stewart, 60, of York, NE formerly of Albion, NE passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at his home in York, NE.

There will be a private family inurnment at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Albion, NE.

Bruce A. Stewart, son of Keith and Rosemond (Mannlein) Stewart, twin brother of Brian Stewart, was born on October 5, 1961 at Albion, NE.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Albion, NE.  Bruce attended a few years of elementary school at St. Michael's Catholic School, then Bruce and Brian attended Albion Public School and graduated with the class of 1980. Following high school Bruce attended the University of Nebraska in Kearney, and then Northeast Community College in Norfolk.

In 1983 Bruce joined the United States Air Force. While stationed in Alaska, Bruce married Dawn Rubio.  The couple moved to California and then Las Vegas, NV where Bruce worked for the rich and famous as a pool boy.  He then became a partner with Color Tyme Rentals and moved to West Virginia.  Bruce then moved to Decatur, TX where he worked for NRS.  He then came back to Nebraska and worked at Country Partners Coop in Albion, NE.

He and his brother Brian always ended up together and have enjoyed the past several years living in York together and working Memorial Stadium with the rope crew during Husker Football games.  In the last couple of years health issues prevented them from going to games so they have graciously shared their tickets with their friends.  Also with following football, NASCAR racing, fishing, camping, being a Sandhills Royals and Husker fan, and enjoying fireworks, Bruces biggest love was for their dog Zoe.

Bruce is survived by father Keith Stewart of Albion, NE; his twin brother Brian "Buzz" Stewart of York, NE; step-brother Scott Breon of Cozad; step-sister Kathy (Kate) and husband John Mueller of Lincoln, NE; faithful dog Zoe; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Rosemond and his step-mother Karen.
