Bridget M. Crowell, 61, of Jefferson City, MO, passed Friday, July 30, 2021 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Due to concerns with covid-19, private family graveside services will be held at Saturday, September 11, 2021, at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Albion, NE with Fr. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating.
The family suggests that memorials are made to the American Stroke Association.
Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE is in charge of local arrangements.
Bridget Marie (Martin) Crowell was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 16, 1960, a daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Anania) Martin. Bridget was united in marriage on March 31, 1989 at Strategic Air Command (SAC) Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska to Steven S. Crowell Jr.
Bridget graduated from Albion High School in Albion, Nebraska. Bridget received a Bachelor's in Nursing degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha and a Bachelor's in Culinary Arts from Keyser University, Florida. Bridget served as a nurse, later opening and operating her own business. Bridget loved helping people and sharing her gift of cuisine with people. Bridget loved her family, enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, playing with her English Bulldog April, and celebrating Halloween. Bridget supported the Special Olympics and youth sports/culinary arts activities.
Bridget is survived by her loving husband: Steven; three daughters: Christina, Lauren and Morgan; her parents: Robert and Elizabeth Martin; Bridget is also survived by family members: Dr. Gregory Crowell; Robert Jr. (Brenda) Martin; Brenda (David) Langenberg; Belinda Martin; Jolyn Martin; Michael (Patty) Martin; Matthew (April) Martin; Kelli (Logan) Niewohner; Olivia Langenberg; Hank (Grace) Martin; Francis Anania; Rose Lippstreu; Jackie Anania; Barbara Ludwick; Chester (Virginia) Martin; and numerous cousins.
Bridget was preceded in death by: Colonel Steven S. Crowell; Elizabeth St. Claire Crowell; Barton Crowell; John Martin; Mary Martin; Frank Anania; Bridget Loraine (Anania) Johnson; Fred Anania; Antoinette Anania; Pat Ludwick; John Martin Jr.; Florence Mazur; and Ann Kon.
