Brenda K. Blunt, 60, of Albion, NE died on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at her home in Albion, NE.

Brenda's wishes where to be cremated. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Brenda Kay Blunt, the oldest daughter of Harlan and Hellen (Miller) Blunt, was born on June 23, 1961 at Missouri Valley, IA. Brenda attended school in Missouri Valley and graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 1979. Brenda then attended Nebraska College of Business.

Brenda worked as a purchasing agent for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She lived in Missouri Valley; Council Bluffs, IA; and after retiring in 2016, moved to Albion, NE in 2018. Brenda was a member of area churches in the Council Bluffs area. Throughout her life Brenda enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper, cooking, and watching western movies. Brenda also enjoyed football and was a fan of the Oklahoma Sooners.

She is survived by three siblings: Julie (Terry) Trusler of Omaha, NE; Ben Blunt of Colorado Springs, CO; Annette (Dan) Smith of Albion, NE; as well as one nephew and many nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother: LeRoy Blunt.
