Barrett Cole Berger, 12 day old infant son of Eric and Eleanor Berger of Spalding, NE passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Children's Hospital in Omaha, NE.

There will be a private family funeral with burial at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Spalding, NE.

Levander Funeral Home of Spalding, NE is charge of the arrangements.

Barrett Cole Berger, son of Eric Thomas and Eleanor Janelle (Wagner) Berger was born on January 12, 2024, at Columbus, Nebraska. Despite his short time on earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him.

Barrett will be forever remembered and loved by his parents Eric and Eleanor and brother Knox of Spalding, NE; grandparents: Bill and Shirley Berger of Spalding, NE; Mark and Bonnie Wagner of Petersburg, NE: aunts and uncles: Melissa (Tyler) Kaps of Ord, NE; Todd Berger and Mardee Berger of Spalding, NE; John Wagner of Petersburg, NE; great-grandparents Judd and Kay Wagner of Petersburg, along with many cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Barrett was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Don Hitchler, Elaine-Hitchler-Biel and Irvin Biel, Lewis and Margaret Berger, Anne Wagner, and Leonard and Jeanette Stehlik.
