Audrey M. Sueper, 76, of Albion, NE passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion, NE.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m.,Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St Michael's Catholic Church in Albion, NE with Fr. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard, NE.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church with a 7:00 p.m. wake service.

Levander Funeral Home of Albion, NE is in charge of the arrangements.

Audrey Marie Sueper, daughter of Martin and Emma (Dostal) Thiem was born on March 17, 1945 at Fremont, NE.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont, NE.  Audrey graduated from Howells High School in 1963.  Following school she worked in Columbus, NE.

On September 19, 1964, Audrey was united in marriage to Richard R. Sueper at St. John's Catholic Church, Howells, NE.  The couple lived and farmed at St. Bernard, NE until 2005 when they moved to Albion. Audrey worked numerous jobs including Alco, the Sr. Center in Albion, the locker in Lindsay, and the Main Street Inn.  Audrey was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay where her and Richard sang in the Choir for many years.  She was also a member of the Holy Family Guild and served several offices.  When they moved to Albion, they joined the St. Michael's Catholic Church.  Audrey was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Audrey and Richard loved to play cards and have been in the same Pitch Card Club for 45 years.  She loved to tell jokes, spend time with her grandchildren, shop, camp and travel.

Audrey is survived by her husband Richard of Albion, NE; four daughters: Linda (Dan) Frauendorfer of St. Bernard, NE; Sue (Terry) Beckman of Norfolk, NE; Laurie (Scott) Hunt of Aurora, NE; Joan (Jay) Beardsley of Minot, ND; one son Joseph (Leila) Sueper of Parker, CO; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son David Martin Sueper, and sister Doris (Del) Schultz.
