Ardath Ann Davidson, 90, of rural St. Edward, NE, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward, NE.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Newman Grove, NE with Pastor Claire Meyer officiating. Inurnment will follow at Trinity West Cemetery, Newman Grove, NE. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Levander Funeral Home of Newman Grove, NE is in charge of arrangements.

Ardath Ann Davidson, daughter of Henry J. and Adeline (Halverson) Kramer was born January 21, 1935, at Bradish, NE. She attended District #20 Leader School for elementary school before going to Newman Grove where she graduated with the class of 1952.

On June 21, 1953, Ardath married Glenn Davidson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newman Grove, NE. From this union, Ardath was blessed with three children. The couple made their home in rural St. Edward, NE where they raised their children. Ardath worked at Mutual of Omaha for a few years then as a secretary for Vocational Ag at school. She then worked at the creamery in Newman Grove, NE and ended her working career as a cook at Mid-Nebraska Luteran Home in Newman Grove, NE.

She was a long-time member of the Lutheran Church. She was a part of Trinity Lutheran Women, card club and was on a bowling league. Ardath enjoyed cooking, baking, gambling, gardening, and bowling. She especially loved spending time with her loved ones and creating long lasting memories with them.

Ardath is survived by her husband of 71 years: Glenn Davidson of rural St. Edward, NE; one son: Ross (Carol) Davidson of rural Albion, NE; two daughters: Nancy (Randy) Johnson of Columbus, NE; Deanna "Dee" (Larry) Koenig of Newman Grove, NE; seven grandchildren: Kelly (Cole Frey) Benson; Samantha (Aaron) Kleveland) Shawna Podany; Jennifer (Tate) Vanicek; Dr. Jill (Andrius) Knasas; Lynn Benzing; Chase (Pascal) Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren with another due in June; special friend: Janice Rosane of St. Edward, NE; special cousin: Ray Herbert of Newman Grove, NE; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother: Clark Henry Kramer; grandson: Kevin "Trapper" Davidson.
