Lee F. Larson 64, of St. Edward, NE, passed away at his home.
A Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in St. Edward with Rev. D. R. “Buck” Linton-Hendrick officiating. Inurnment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, prior to the service at the church.
Lee Fredrick Larson, son of Glen Allan and Jeanette Lorraine (Harris) Larson, was born April 19, 1949 at the hospital in St. Edward, NE. He attended grade school at Boone County District #5 from 1955 to 1964, graduated from Albion High School in 1968 and attended Nebraska Christian College in 1969.
Following his education, Lee worked in light manufacturing in Columbus, painting jobs in St. Edward, as well as various jobs in Neligh, Norfolk, and Genoa. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. His favorite pastimes were playing his guitar and singing. Lee was easy to like, a friendly and good-hearted person who was known for taking in stray animals and caring for them.
Lee is survived by a sister Judy Twedt and husband Mike of Ottawa, KS; a brother Tom Larson and wife Deb of Fort Collins, CO; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
